Mobile-Ready eCommerce Website Template Development & Migration
Design & Develop a new eCommerce Wordpress template to integrate with WooCommerce plugin to create a fresh website design and optimal user experience to migrate the ABC Sports Camps, who provides event registration software & websites for their portfolio of 500+ NCAA DI, DII, DIII, NAIA, NJCAA, high schools, private companies, and more to the new website template.
Requirements for this project included:
1. Template must be contemporary and easy to use for users to register directly from the site.
2. Integrate WooCommerce to the template and re-design a clean and easy event registration API feed.
3. Migrate existing portfolio of 500+ outdated client websites to the new template and perform QA checks for authenticity of imagery, content, social links and events feeds.
4. Establish and train the ABC Sports team to build new client sites and make standard updates to customize and fit the needs of their clients.
5. Allow for non-tech savvy coaches to utilize ABC as a one-stop-shop to setup a website for event registrations as well as for marketing said events. Must be easy to navigate, find events easily and easy to read.
6. Ensure new template is built to handle optimized SEO titles, tags, and descriptions with the Yoast SEO plugin.
